On the 8th of November the EFESEIIS project final event was held in Brussels, Belgium. More than 60 people attended the event.

After the opening greetings from the Scientific Director Prof. Mario Biggeri, Dr. Risto Raivio, senior expert of European Commission DG employment, social affairs and inclusion, presented the latest relevant developments of the EU policy agenda on social enterprises.

The first part of the event has been dedicated to the topic of social enterprises’ ecosystems and to the presentation of three project’s results (for more information please see results): the role of institutions, stakeholders’ maps, the enabling ecosystem and role of behaviour.

The presentations have been followed by the introduction of the intermediate results from EFESEIIS’s sister project Seforis.

In the afternoon Rosario Sapienza, project manager for the Austrian team, facilitated a workshop based on Open Space Technology methodology. During the workshops, participants discussed future research avenues and policy advices for different stakeholders.
