On February 12th and 13th the EU funded EFESEIIS project members held their first meeting in Florence, Italy.
Mr. Enrico Testi, Director of the Research Lab ARCO and project coordinator describes the project:
The EFESEIIS (Enabling the Flourishing and Evolution of Social Entrepreneurship for Innovative and Inclusive Societies) will contribute to advance the research frontier in the field of Social Entrepreneurship.
The project members include 10 high level partners from varying countries including: England, Scotland, Denmark, The Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Serbia, Poland and Albania.
The research project will be completed by December 2016.
The main objectives of the project include the following areas of focus: an evolutionary theory of social entrepreneurship, the identification of an enabling eco-system for social entrepreneurship, the identification of a “New Generation” of social entrepreneurs and advice to stakeholders.
