The project’s next steps will include the following research methods:
- A behavioural experiment will be done in Italy at the Department of Economics of the University of Florence and at Glasgow Caledonian University, in order to assess the characteristics of both social and traditional entrepreneurs. The experiment will consist of behavioural games involving 30 social entrepreneurs and 30 traditional entrepreneurs at the city level, as well as 30 students;
- A Social Capital Analysis has been developed by University of Warsaw, aiming to develop an insight into the modalities through which social entrepreneurs build social capital around their projects. This task foresees the submission of a questionnaire;
- The Department of Economics of the University of Florence developed a questionnaire on behavioural features of social entrepreneurship, which will be submitted together with the Social capital questionnaire and will involve a total of 15 entrepreneurs per country: 5 traditional entrepreneurs, 5 social entrepreneurs, and 5 ‘new generation social entrepreneurs’ (those that started their activity over the last three years);
- In each partner country, five ‘new generation” social enterprises’ will be selected in order to be the object of an in-depth case study examination.
